How to get there

Villa Gotta is easily accessible by air from the UK:
Ryanair have a number of low cost options:

  • London Stansted to Genoa
  • London Stansted to Turin
  • London Stansted to Milan - Bergamo.

EasyJet also operate low cost flights from London Gatwick to Milan Linate and Milan Malpensa. and from London Luton to Turin.

British Airways have a full timetable of flights to Milan and Turin from London, Birmingham and Manchester.    Alitalia is also another option from London Heathrow.

Driving time from all the main airports is approximately 1 hour, except from Genoa which is around  45 minutes.

By Air from the USA and Canada:
Small ads in the travel sections of the main newspapers such as the New York Times, Chicago Tribune, Toronto Globe and Mail have many discounted flights to Italy. There are of course any number of scheduled flights to Italy from the major US and Canadian airports .Many people are now taking cheap flights to the UK and then the low cost Ryanair flight on to Milan , Turin or Genoa.

The main hubs for travel from the USA and Canada to Italy are Milan and Rome.

Car Hire:
It is invariably best and cheaper to book your hire car before travelling rather than leaving it until your arrival in Italy.

There are many web based car hire companies where you can find very reasonable rates. We recommend you try Hertz and Europcar, who are available at all airports.
