The villa and large swimming pool
Villa Gotta has recently undergone a complete renovation and rebuilding project by local architects / designers, Osella & Oberti. The original combination of stone and brickwork, typical of the region has been retained, together with vaulted ceilings and other features such as the double height windows from the original hay loft. The original ‘cascina’ was constructed c. 250 years ago, and the restoration of this unique building provides wonderful interior spaces which are open and airy with a modern feel, whilst being equipped with the last word in luxury.
The villa sits at the end of a private road within its own 5 acre forest, high on a hillside with stunning views over the valley to the hilltop villages of Vignale Monferrato, San Lorenzo and Cuccaro. The landscaped grounds feature fig, walnut, pear and apple trees with ample room for 5/6 cars in the courtyard . The 14 m x 8.5 m swimming pool, with its beige liner reflecting a wonderful green/ blue colour to the water, is every child’s and not so young adult’s dream, is situated in front of the house just outside the kitchen and open plan dining room.

The external dining table seats 10 guests comfortably. This is convenient for the kitchen / dining room through a set of double doors. Internally, there is a hand made oak dining table which again seats 10 guests.

Fully equipped kitchen
The kitchen is fully equipped with all modern appliances including side by side fridge freezer, dishwasher, large gas hob and double oven and granite work surfaces. Double glazed doors open on to the patio area for outside dining.

Lounge leading to sitting room
The main lounge is furnished with two 3 seat leather sofas and one four seat leather sofa and casual armchairs. There is an enclosed fireplace for cooler evenings, ample shelving and bookcases, I-Pod dock and CD player. The main doors from the lounge lead onto the exterior patio and large swimming pool.

Granite spiral staircases lead up to the first floor at each side of the villa. The huge master bedroom has spectacular double height oak windows overlooking the swimming pool and courtyard area. The views from the bedroom to Vignale and San Lorenzo are spectacular.
On the first floor of the west wing there is also a pool table area and steps lead up to a second floor double bedroom.
Luxury bathroom to master bedroom
The main bathroom has a sunken bath, double hand basins and an open ( wet room ) shower. There is under floor heating to the master bedroom and shower room and steps lead down to the balcony overlooking the swimming pool.
On the first floor of the east wing there are four double bedrooms and three en suite bathrooms. There is tiled ceramic flooring throughout and central heating.
The bedrooms are fully fitted with ample wardrobe and hanging space. There are exposed walls in all the rooms showing the classical mix of intertwined Piedmontese stone and brickwork.
